Central Valley Higher Education Consortium Releases Report on Transition Age Foster Youth in College

A new report from the Central Valley Higher Education Consortium describes the barriers that foster youth face in attending college and makes recommendations for college policies and programs to remove those barriers, most prominently tuition and fee waivers and providing housing. It also makes recommendations for specialized staff to serve transition age foster youth and stable institutional funding to support campus support programs.
